I want to make a polka out of a Phillip Glass song, but I'm not sure it can be done. Even so, I think I will try.

I watched a show last night about the Savant phenomenon and the researcher who believes it can be achieved momentarily by deadening the part of the brain that suppresses attention to detail. The experiments use magnetic bombardment to shut down that part of the brain, but it makes me think of the theme of drilling out a part of the brain that I've noticed repeatedly.

Maybe I need a lobotomy to interpret a Glass song as a Polka.
